Peru is so eye-catching as a destination – just look at the women in the marketplace – and very educative as I learnt a lot about the Inca civilization by climbing Machu Picchu and visiting Moray, near Cuzco. At Moray, the Incas built these concentric circles as a method of crop cultivation and experimentation: the temperature at the top-most circle varies from below.
