Spiritual Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka captures one with its spirituality, physical beauty and wildlife. Buddhist sculptures meet you at nearly every stop; be it in Anuradhapura, Dhambulla or Pollunaruwa. The country is captivating in its natural beauty which can be experienced at Horton Plains, Nuwara Eliya and its surrounding tea estates. Geoffrey Bawa, the famed Sri Lankan architect, was born in Colombo and his hotels are worth visiting for experiencing architecture that has been described as ‘tropical modernism.’ He has an ability to intertwine nature and landscaping into his designs.
