Every year in December the community of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, N.Y., decorate their homes with lights to celebrate Christmas.  Although I have lived in New York for many years, I had never witnessed the scale of these decorations till 2020, the year of the pandemic, when we were all forced to seek outdoor venues of entertainment. The best light displays can be found between 11th to 13th Avenues and from 83rd to 86th Street in Dyker Heights. The Santas, snowmen, and lights will delight all and I was especially taken in by the life-size nutcrackers. Here is a video I took of some of the displays. DykerheightChristmas
